A Distant Star
An old friend and mentor of Sheridan's, Captain Maynard, arrives at the station. Maynard's ship is one of the Earth Alliance's Explorer vessels, made for building new jumpgates.After leaving the station, the ship becomes lost in hyperspace, and Sheridan decides to mount a rescue, despite the fact that no wayward vessel has ever been recovered from hyperspace before.
