Accelerando

A collection of nine novellas and novelettes by Charles Stross that explore the function and nature of human society before and after the technological singularity. The stories progress in a linear fashion and follow 3 generations of the Macx family through the 21st century. The first 3 stories are told from the point of view of the 'venture altruist' Manfred Macx, the following 3 stories then switch focus to his daughter Amber, and the last 3 follow her son Sirhan in the wake of post-singularity humanity.
