Captain Alan Carter

Alan Carter is officially chief of the Reconaissance section of Moonbase Alpha, he was also a driving force behind the Meta Probe mission that Commander Koenig was sent to Moonbase Alpha to get launched. Carter seems to have been earmarked for the same role that Koenig had performed in the Ultraprobe mission three years earlier.

Carter is Australian and at times can be a bit hotheaded, almost seeming to have a thirst for danger. He is an excellent pilot and doesn't lack courage, at the same time he does seem to know his own limitations. While at some times he can seem a bit reckless, there are times he seems to be the voice of reason.

He also seems to make friends easily, at one time having a short lived relationship with Sandra Benes.
