Aliens (First Alien War)

The alien forces of the 1st alien invasion back in 1999 consisted of 5 intelligent races (Sectoid, Floater, Snakeman, Muton, Ethereal) and 6 'terrorist' races (Cyberdisc, Reaper, Chryssalid, Celatid, Silacoid, Sectopod).

They had worked together, apparently, for the sake of enslaving the human race, until finally being defeated early in the 21st century after an elite X-Com team, using reverse-engineered alien technology, stormed their Cydonia base on Mars and killed the Brain directing them.
