Alpha Class Utility Shuttle

The Alpha Class shuttle is the utility workhorse of the Terran Confederation. The craft is modular and comes in a variety of versions. There are standard transport shuttles which have a jump engine and reasonably comfortable seating. There are also VIP and high priority courier versions. The VIP versions will have less seating, but will be more opulent for a high ranker such as an Admiral and maybe some staff officers. The courier version will be stripped down for speed to relay orders that cannot be trusted to relay stations.

The Alpha also comes in assault and SAR versions. In the SAR role, the Alpha class is being replaced in Confed by the Condor class shuttle.
