Armoured Personnel Carrier
The Armoured Personnel Carrier, or APC for short is a heavily armoured vehicle carried on board USCMC vessels. Able to be carried by a dropship, an APC is an ideal battle transport.
It is also heavily armed. A large multidirectional twin gun turret sits on the roof. When entering the dropship and cramped areas, the turret can slide down the back. A smaller twin gun turret sits to the front and right of the drivers window.
A full platoon of Marines can be carried inside, and there is also some spare seats to carry passengers. The APC serves also as the Command and Control facility from where a Marine Officer can co-ordinate the movements of his platoon from information fed from the Marines helmet cameras that is relayed to the APC screens.
