Atlantis

The largest starship ever encountered in the Stargate universe. Atlantis is an Ancient intergalactic spacecraft that ferried a portion of their race to the Pegesus galaxy about 10 million years ago. The flying city served as the capital of the Ancient nation in the Pegesus galaxy untill the end of the Wraith War. In the last days of the Wraith War, Atlantis was sieged for many years. In an attempt to survive longer, the surviving Ancients submerged the city and returned to the Milky Way. Atlantis was recently discovered by a SGC expedition and has scence become the base of SGC operations in the Pegesus galaxy. In its modern condition, Atlantis is a far cry from its hight. The city only has one of the three ZPMs it requires to operate, and geting the half-charged one they have now was difficult enough. The city also has now offencive armament, as it was depleted in the final battles of the Wraith War. Never the less, Atlantis is this far and away the greatest relic of the Ancients. Possesing an incredible shield, a stargate, a chair platform, Puddle Jumpers, and a databank that contains a wealth of Ancient data, Atlantis is possibly the single most important starship that currently exists in the stargate universe.
