HIMS Avenger

The HIMS Avenger, captained by Captain Needa, was an Imperator-class Star Destroyer and was part of Lord Darth Vader's Death Squadron, which was used to hunt for the Rebel Alliance's base of operations. The Avenger and her captain had a good record and the Avenger often served point duty in the squadron.

The Avenger doggedly pursued the Millenium Falcon after the assault on Hoth, even going so far as to enter the asteroid field present in the system. Finally, it seemed that the Avenger had cornered the Falcon when she emerged from the asteroid field, but instead of of continuing to flee from the far larger vessel, the Falcon turned and flew straight at the Avengers bridge and then seemingly disappeared. Unknown to her captain and crew the Falcon had latched onto the rear of the bridge tower.

The Avenger's ultimate fate is unknown, but it is likely she was destroyed at Endor or escaped the field of battle and joined up with a regional warlord.
