Battlestar Galactica (1978)

TV series ran for one season in 1979. Spawned Galactica 1980 the following year, also for just one season.

The twelve colonies of man have fallen to a huge attack by the machine-based lifeforms known as Cylons. Now, under the command of Commander Adama, the last Battlestar, Galactica, must lead the remnant of humanity to find the legendary thirteenth colony of man: Earth.
