Battlestar Galactica (2004)

A reimagining of Battlestar Galactica (1979).

After creating Cylons to do more dangerous and dirty jobs, the human race finds itself embroiled in a war with them. Eventually, peace was declared, and the Cylons disappeared for forty years and set up their own society on distant planets. A spacestation was constructed in neutral territory where relations could be maintained, but the Cylons never sent a representative.

Now they're back.
