The sixth of the Battlestar Galactica novels, this continues the pattern of the first books by adapting the scripts of series episodes.

This is a novelisation of the two part episode 'The Living Legend' covering the discovery of the missing ship Battlestar Pegasus and its legendary Commander, Cain.

Meanwhile the Colonial Fleet is in the middle of a crisis over low fuel supplies and Adama must find a source of fuel fast.
