Battlestar Galactica (Film)

Battlestar Galactica's three part pilot 'Saga of a Star World' was given a theatrical release in some countries, for instance in the UK. It was cut from nearly three hours to just over 2 hours.

The Twelve Colonies of Man have fought the Cylon Empire for centuries and the Cylons sue for peace. The peace summit is a betrayal and the Colonial Fleet is all but destroyed except for the Battlestar Galactica. At the same time, the twelve colonies are being brutally attacked.

Commander Adama assembles a rag tag fleet of civilian vessels and packs in as many people as can be carried. His intention is to find a lost 13th Colony. A distant planet called Earth.
