Battletech:Assumption of Risk

Kai Allard-Liao is the reigning champion on the game world of Solaris VII and gets caught up in the machinations of his Uncle, Tormano Liao who is becoming increasingly frustrated in his efforts to advance his Free Capella organisation.

In the meantime, Ryan Steiner, a long time opponent of Victor Steiner-Davion and a supporter of the Skye seccessionist movement tries to undermine Victor. Also tragedy seemingly strikes Victor when he loses one of his close friends and confidants to an explosion that seems eerily familiar.
