The Clans continue their drive towards Terra, having been aided by Comstar. Internal power struggles within Comstar itself threaten the safety of the Inner Sphere.

Operation Scorpion, a plan hatched by the near mad Primus Myndo Waterley to control the Inner Sphere is revealed which will have an impact on the way people view Comstar in the future.

A final battlefield is set to decide the fate of the Inner Sphere on the world of Tukayyid.
