Bender

Bender is the amoral, foul-mouthed, hard-drinking bending robot who becomes Fry's first friend upon him emerging into the world of the 30th century.

Bender was assembled 4 years prior in Tijuana, Mexico by Mom's Friendly Robot Company.

Selfish and hedonistic, there seems to be nothing Bender won't do for money - he has run an orphanage and a computer dating service, and is an incorrigible thief.

His main vices apart from drink and money are an adoration of Elzar (a chef) and the 'All My Circuits' soap opera.
