Black Hole, The

A film released by Walt Disney, trying to apparently cash in on the boom after Star Wars. The Black Hole was fairly 'dark' for a Disney film and also involved a lot of matte paintings in the special effects.

Commercially the film was a bit of a failure, but it does have somewhat of a following. The cast included a number of known actors including the late Anthony Perkins, known from the Pyscho films, Yvette Minueix who was in the 1960's version of The Time Machine, and Slim Pickens and Roddy McDowall who did voiceovers for the films robots B.O.B and V.I.N.C.E.N.T respectively.
