Commander Cain

Commander of the Battlestar Pegasus, thought lost after the Battle of Molocay, Cain is a flamboyant, yet rash Commander. While he respects Adama, he cannot seem to grasp the situation that Adama is responsible for over 200 slow moving, almost helpless civilian ships and that Adama cannot afford to engage in rash military engagements that would endanger those civilians.

Cain has one daughter, Sheba who is the Strike Commander aboard the Pegasus and is almost as strong willed as he is.

The Galactica encounters the Pegasus when the fleet is in the middle of a fuel crisis, and Cain decides that the best method would be to take a Cylon base on the world of Gamoray. Against orders from Adama, he engages three Cylon Basestars. Him and his ship disappear.
