Chronosphere

The Chronosphere is a transportation device used by the Allies. A Chronosphere works by manipulating space and time. Orginally it was a time machine, but was modified for teleportation.

In Red Alert, only vehicles could be teleported, because organic matter would be destroyed. Another side effect was that it would create Time Vortexes. By Red Alert 2, the Chronosphere technology seems to have improved. Special infantry are now able to teleport by themsleves and not get killed. Time erasing weapons have been developed. By the time of the first Command and Conquer, the Chronosphere appears not to be in use by the Allies' successor, the GDI.
