CoDominium

The CoDominium Universe is the unoffical name for the future history that inculdes the Falkenburg's Legions, WorldWar, and The Mote in God's Eye series. Jerry Pournelle created the universe, and coauthored with Larry Niven and S.M. Stirling.

The CoDominium universe is a long Future History that spans over a thousand years. The Falkenburg's Legions series follows an elite mercenary group's expliots in the late 21st Century. The series also discribes the dystopian universe of the CoDominium, a corrupt Alliance between the USSR and the US. The WorldWar series are short story collections that tell of the history of a world named Haven. The Mote in God's eye and it's sequal take place centuries after the CoDominium and the Empire of Man had collapsed. The Mote in God's Eye tells of the Second Empire of Man's first contact with another alien race.

The Mote in God's Eye is perhaps the most well known CoDominium series, and considered by some to be one of the best science fiction novels.

'Go Tell The Spartans' and 'Prince of Sparta' are cult classics amoung military officers. The two novels deal with antiguerilla warfare.
