Concussion Missile

Concussion missiles are powerful explosive weapons which serve a wide variety of roles in SW combat. More generic and generally cheaper (but also weaker) than proton torpedoes, concussion missiles are widely used by infantry, ground vehicles, aicraft, starfighters, and capital ships. They range in size from small manportable missile launcher versions to massive torpedo-scale anti-ship weapons.

As their name suggests, concussion missles do more damage in atmosphere, where the concussive airburst can be powerful enough to create small localized 'earthquakes.' While less potent in space, they are nonetheless effective weapons there. Most are fitted with homing systems.
