Corellian Corvette

The Corellian Corvette, more popularly known as the 'Rebel Blockade Runner,' is a 150 meter vessel used for a wide range of purposes, from simple transport of cargo and passengers, to serving in a diplomatic function. The ships are quite common.

While they are not ideal combat vehicles, Corvettes formed much of the Rebel Alliance's capital ship assets during the early stages of the Rebellion. The craft are armed with two turret-mounted double turbolasers, and four single turbolasers mounted on the outside of the ship's exposed lifeboats. They are, however, easy prey for larger, dedicated combat vessels.

A true combat version of the Corvette was designed after the Battle of Endor. Equipped with numerous laser cannons, it made an excellent anti-fighter platform.
