Crew of the Satellite of Love

The Satellite of Love had a changing crew during its decade in orbit, although this change was really just limited to Mike Nelson replacing Joel Robinson as hostage and experimentee.

The very first crew consisted of Joel himself, but he quickly produced his four robot pals - Cambot, Crow, Gypsy, and Servo. This crew lasted for about four and a half years, at which point Joel escaped and Mike came on board. This too lasted about four and a half years, until the SoL crash-landed on Earth and the crew took up life on Earth.

Throughout the experimentation, the crewmembers shared life on the SoL, with all its quarrels, cooperation, pestering, support, and above all the ongoing process of keeping each other sane by sharing in the pain and mockery of the films forced upon them.
