Crossgen

The Crossgen universe was the setting for a number of comic series featuring very different characters, connected by fate and by the whims of god-like beings which have given many of them the dubious honour of sporting a sigil - a symbol that grants them great power, but draws the attention of other beings of power which challenge them, forcing them to grow stronger or die.

As a result of this divine meddling, many stories in many different worlds of a future Milky Way unfold before things come to a head with the arrival of an immense threat to everything.

The Negation, a cosmic empire that rules an entire universe and is ruled by a god-emperor that once was a human, had been preparing the conquest of our own universe and crossed the barrier between dimensions with overwhelming forces.

Unfortunately, we never will know how the tale ends, for the publishing company, Crossgen comics, bankrupted before the end of the Negation War arc.
