Cylon Basestar

The Cylon Basestar is the main fighter carrier for the Cylon Empire. Carrying around 300 Cylon Raiders, these craft are a potent opponent. They are heavily armed with various laser emplacements and a fighter attack on them is considered suicide.

The Basestars seem to be a bit slower moving than a Battlestars flank speed, but considering the Galactica has to go the same speed as the slowest ship in her convoy, that is not too much of a problem.
