Death's Other Dominion

Alpha encounters an ice covered planet, quickly deemed totally unsuitable for habitation. To their astonishment they receive a transmission from a Dr Cabot Rowland, one member of a space probe that went missing some years ago.

He invites them down to the planet, which he calls Ultima Thule, promising that they could have a good satisfying life there. Intrigued, Commander Koenig and some of the command staff embark. There Rowland offers them immortality, as they have not aged a day since leaving Earth.

However, there is more to Dr Rowlands offer than meets the idea, and the seemingly mad Captain Jack Tanner, the command pilot of the mission knows more than he is letting on.
