Defiant

Overview

The Defiant class is a small overpowered Combat ship in use in use in the latter half of the 24th century. The Defiant class was designed to counter the Borg threat, as can be seen in its weapons loadout, which includes Quantum and Photon Torpedoes, a single phaser array and four high power pulse phaser cannons. The Defiant looks nothing like 'normal' Federation ships. Its a compact single-hull ship with the nacelles built into the superstructure. All of its internal space is optimised for combat, it has no science labs and only a small sickbay.
