Ambassador Delenn

Delenn of the Family of Mir is the Ambassador to Babylon 5 from 2257 onwards. At first she is a bit aloof but like most Minbari, she is not really too familiar with contact with those outside her race.

Delenn is a member of the Religious Caste and unknown to the other ambassadors, she is also a member of the Grey Council, the Ruling body of the Minbari Federation. This status changes in 2259 when she is ejected from the council. The ejection is caused by her undergoing a physical change which resembles a half human-half Minbari hybrid look. This transformation was meant to unite both species but seems to initially cause some resentment and suspicion.

She was mentored by Dukhat, one of the most honoured Minbari of recent times.
