Draconia

The Kings Star Fortress Draconia is an impressive looking vessel that ferries Princess Ardala to Earth to sign a peace treaty and trade agreement with Earth.

The vessel itself has one centrally mounted landing bay which can take ships of medium size. Ships seem to launch through independent 'tube' systems as Draconian Marauders were observed to launched in waves.

The Draconia appears to have no defensive weaponry, and this seems strange, however, the fact that the whole peace treaty was a sham, yet was designed to convince the Earth Directorate that the Princess was indeed on a peaceful mission maybe means that any defensive weaponry was removed from the Draconia while its fighters were deployed elsewhere. The Draconia at first glance seems to be fairly fragile, but bear in mind that she had suffered multiple internal explosions in her launch bay and launch tubes which combined with munitions and fuel storage would have heavily damaged the ship.

The internal fittings of the Draconia seem sumptous, even carrying a sunken bath for the use of Princess Ardala. This would seem to indicate that the resources carried by the Draconia are plentiful that luxuries like this can be catered to. Troop quarters will of course be far more spartan.

The Draconia was destroyed by a combination of sabotage from Captain Rogers and strafing runs from Earth Directorate Starfighters. Despite this, the Princess Ardala and Kane escaped in a lifeboat. It's unknown if any other lifeboats made it clear.
