Dralthi

The Dralthi, in one form or another has been one of the longest serving fighter classes in the Kilrathi Empire. It has received numerous changes since the early days of the Confed-Kilrathi conflict and for some reason still remains in production towards the end of the war.

The reason for this is unknown as the Dralthi seems mediocre for a fighter, it has not got outstanding weaponry, its armour is average at best and it is not particularly maneuverable. Nevertheless it seems to be the baseline Kilrathi fighter.

The large disc shaped wing stablisers give the vessel good maneuverability, but also means that it can only evade by flying straight up or down. Early Dralthi's stabilisers were almost completely disc shaped, giving the vessel the nickname of 'The Flying Pancake' among Confed pilots, but later Dralthi's stabilisers are smaller.

It is also known that early classes of this fighter were not equipped with an emergency ejection system, but were capable of atmospheric flight.
