Durango Class

The Durango class Light Carrier was the Border Worlds designation for a vessel which was an unhappy compromise. The hull of an old Confederation Destroyer had been converted into a light fighter carrier.

This type of project was not without precedence, in fact, Confed itself had done such a thing before with its CVE Escort Carriers by converting the hulls of transport vessels.

The Durango's have a small fighter group when compared to something like a Concordia Class Fleet carrier and might even have a smaller fighter complement than a Ranger Class Carrier like the TCS Victory.
