Empire of Man

Sucessor to the CoDominium, the Empire of Man is founded in 2250 after the Foundation Wars. The Empire of Man began as the Spartan Hegemony, based on the planet of Sparta, until 2250 when Leonidas I declares it the Empire of Man. By that time Sparta controls all human worlds. It enforces a long interstellar peace. However, a rebellion started by the planet Sauron begins the Secession Wars. This leads to the collapse of the Empire in 2640 and a long Dark age. Two centuries later, The Empire of Man is suceeded by the Second Empire of Man.
