End of Eternity

Moonbase Alpha detects an asteroid with an internal atmosphere.

A team is sent up and a disturbing mural is found inside a chamber. What seems to be a sort of tomb is also found but the occupant is still alive, albeit in a state of suspended animation.

While trying to cut him free, an explosion wounds one of the crew, the eagle pilot and the occupant of the tomb is badly burned.

Taken back to Alpha, his wounds seem to have regenerated at an amazing rate. The stranger wakes, revealing himself as Balor, a member of a race of immortals.

While Balor appears to be benevolent, it is soon apparent that he is not all that he seems.
