USS Enterprise (D)

The USS Enterprise was commanded by Captain Jean-Luc Picard. It distinguished itself many times during it's lifespan, defeating the Borg in orbit of Earth (twice) (the double-episode 'The Best of Both Worlds' and the film 'First Contact'), stopping a Romulan invasion of Vulcan ('Unification'), and preventing a high-level takeover of Starfleet Command ('Conspiracy').
