HIMS Executor

Measuring 18 kilometers long, the Executor was the flagship of Lord Darth Vader's personal Death Squadron. The Executor boasted thousands of weapon emplacements and massively powerful shields, and also acted as the command vessel for its fleet of escorts. Like other ESD's (colloquially known as Super Star Destroyers), the Executor was capable of engaging small fleets on its own. For support, it carried a full wing of fighters, as well as bombers and gunships. It also carried its own strike force of walkers, stormtroopers, and prefabrifaced garrisons for use in assaulting or pacifying entire worlds.

The Executor met its demise at the Battle of Endor. The shields protecting its bridge collapsed under heavy fleet bombardment from Rebel Mon Calamari star cruisers and other vessels, and a single Rebel A-wing collided with the bridge itself. The loss of function would have been temporary, but the ship rammed into the unfinished Death Star II before the auxilliary command bridge could regain control. A ruptured fuel storage area within the DS II is believed to be the cause of the massive explosion which then engulfed and consumed the Executor.
