Gantrithor

The Gantrithor is one of the most important warships in Protoss history. An upgraded Carrier, it transported the High Templar Tassadar on his missions around the Koprulu Sector. It participated in a number of important battles, and was ultimately used in the final battle against the Zerg Overmind. It was rammed into the Overmind in a self-sacrificing move on the part of Tassadar, and the resulting release of psionic energies destroyed the physical embodiment of the Overmind - which, while not destroying the Overmind (which has no body) itself - presumably disrupted its control over the Swarms.

The Gantrithor was a 'supercarrier,' with conventional armament in addition to the usual Interceptor drones. It was also much more durable than typical carriers. (Only the higher HP was supported by game mechanics.)
