Genii Confederation

The Genii are a moderately advanced and militaristic civilization that lives in the Pegasus Galaxy. The Genii used to be a multi-planet spanning civilization who after a devasting Wraith culling, went to hide in old underground bunkers. There, they rebuilt to their current state of technology, comparable to the 1940's on Earth.

To the casual observer, the Genii seem to be harmless and peaceful Amish-like farmers, however, they will kill anyone who discover the truth. Their simplistic exterior gives protection from the Wraith, who have not discovered their true state of advancement.

Recently the Genii have encountered the Atlantis Expedition, and after a disastrous First Contact which was a first joint allied mission to a Hive Ship to collect information. However, while the mission was a succes, a Genii officer was left behind to die by Teyla Emmagan. This action was seen as a betrayal by the Genii, followed by the appearance of several cloaked Puddle Jumpers who forced the Genii to hand over the data collected.

This caused an open state of hostilities between the Genii and the Atlantis Expedition wich than was followed by several violent incident, all of them led by Commander Kolya of the Genii.
