Hand Link

The hand link is a basic communication device that afixes to the back of the user's hand. Each link is encoded to the person it is assigned to, so that an unauthorized user cannot use it. A link has to be cancelled by the appropriate authorities via the security net (as was observed with former Chief of Security Garibaldi using a spare link to circumvent B5 security).

The link uses a molecular bonding system to affix itself to the hand. It is also apparent that the link is to a degree customisable; they have been used to interface with computer systems, and Captain John Sheridan used his to arm two Vree nuclear devices and cause the White Star to crash dive into Zha'dhum.
