EAS Hyperion (Babylon 5)

The EAS Hyperion was one of the earliest of the Hyperion class, as hinted by its name, possibly the first. One of the few of its class to survive the Earth-Minbari War, the EAS Hyperion, was a member of the task force that initiated first contact with the Minbari, along with the EAS Prometheus and the EAS Amundsen.

The EAS Hyperion also visited Babylon 5 in 2258, by this time the vessel was under the command of Captain Ellis Pierce to investigate the Great Machine on Epsilon 3.

It's unknown what part, if any, the Hyperion played in the Earth civil war.
