Yeoman Janice Rand

Yeoman Janice Rand was stationed on the USS Enterprise early in the vessels five year mission. Although it is rarely directly mentioned, she seemed to have something of a crush on Captain James T Kirk.

Yeoman Rand takes part in some of the earlier missions of the Enterprise, although she was assaulted by a duplicate of Captain Kirk after there was a transporter accident.

Early on, she seems to have been transferred and later appears some years later with a position at Starfleet Command when the Enterprise returned from its battle with the USS Reliant after it had been captured by Khan Noonien Singh.

She later resumed duties on board a starship serving under Captain Sulu on the USS Excelsior.
