Kane (Buck Rogers in the 25th Century)

Not much is known about Kane. What is known is that, although he works for the Draconian Empire, he is in fact an Earth man. This is mentioned twice in the pilot episode, once onboard the Draconia in a conversation with Princess Ardala, and again when talking to Dr Huer (this scene isn't always seen, as it depends on the version of the pilot shown).

Kane seems to be an advisor to Princess Ardala and subtly tries to influence her in matters of strategic and tactical planning. However, Ardala's aloofness and disdain for Kane often stops this from happening. Kane is routinely the scapegoat when plans go wrong.

He seems to be ruthless in his own way, but also seems to have a code of honour as is demonstrated when Buck is captured and taken aboard Ardalas ship and he consents to Bucks release.
