Archon Katrina Steiner

The popular and revered leader of the Lyran Commonwealth at the time of the Fourth Sucession War. She negotiated the marriage of her daughter, Melissa, to First Prince Hanse Davion of the Federated Suns, thereby creating the most powerful political and economic alliance in the Inner Sphere.

She survived an attempt to depose her orchestrated by Frederick Steiner and Aldo Lestrade among others, who were involved in the Skye seccesionist movement. She was always held in high regard by her people although some thought her arrangement of a marriage between her daughter and Hanse Davion was a grave mistake.
