Laser Pistol

The laser pistol used by the troops and pilots of the Colonial Fleet is a medium sized firearm. Fairly bulky, it was carried in a low slung hip holster. The charge seems to be quite powerful, and a firefight with Cylon Centurions in the catacombs of Carillon was enough to start a chain reaction that ignited the raw Tylium ore.

The weapons charge would have to be powerful since it would have been designed to punch through Cylon armour.
