Kommandant Leiter

Commander of the Eastern Alliance destroyer encountered by the Galactica near the planet of Paradeen. Leiter is a ruthless individual who is totally committed and convinced of the superiority of his own culture even when confronted with the Battlestar Galactica and the obvious technological differences inherent in the Colonial culture.

Leiter and his crew are captured by Apollo, Starbuck and Cassiopea when the Eastern Alliance vessel surveys Paradeen and finds the Colonials there. Leiter and his crew are imprisoned aboard the Penal ship but later escape along with the Borellian Nomen.
