Ilkhan Leo Showers

Leo Showers was originally Khan of Clan Smoke Jaguar and when plans were made to invade the Inner Sphere, he was made Ilkhan, which is basically the Supreme Khan, a temporary position which lasts the duration of a conflict. Like most Smoke Jaguars he is utterly ruthless, even more so than other clans and has no time for Inner Sphere warriors. He was totally convinced of the superiority of Clan society in all ways to that of the Inner Sphere.

He met his demise on board the Sovettskii Soyuz Class Battlecruiser Dire Wolf, which was acting as a flagship for the Clan Invasion Force. Upon entering the territory of the Free Rasalhague Republic, the clan forces met with a surprising amount of resistance from the fiercely patriotic Rasalhague defence forces. They inflicted damage out of all proportion to their size, and a Shilone Aerofighter piloted by Kapten Tyra Miraborg along with her flight group made an attack run on the Dire Wolf. With her flight destroyed, and her own fighter mortally damaged, she rammed the bridge of the Dire Wolf.

The rupturing of the Bridge viewport pulled Leo Showers and other high ranking Clan officers out into space. One of the few survivors was Ulric Kerensky, having been saved by Phelan Kell.
