Lewiston

A hand-operated, hip-holstered ray-gun; the standard sidearm of the Triplanetary Service. Otherwise not qualified, 'Liewiston' refers to the Lewiston Mark Seventeen, the most powerful hand-blaster known to Triplanetary science or the early Galactic Patrol; some Mark Twelves were stocked aboard the Chicago when Lyman Cleveland was masquerading as a quartermaster clerk. After the formation of the Galactic Patrol, the DeLameter eventually replaced the Lewiston as the standard Patrol sidearm.
