HIMS Lusankya
The Lusankya was the Sister ship to the SSD Executor, built alongisde it and with similar design specs. The Lusankya was sunk under the cityscape of Coruscant and acted as a prison for undesirables.
The director of Imperial Intellegence, Ysanne Isard, was well known for her deadly prison, known as Lusankya. She used the prison to 'reprogram' people, secretly making them her own operatives, so that even the prisoners themselves did not know it. If she commanded them to do something, they had to do it, even to the point of betraying or mudering their friends. Rogue Squadron pilot Corran Horn was captured by Isard, and taken to Lusankya. But his escape led to the discovery of the truth about Lusankya. The Lusankya was, in reality, a Super Star Destroyer. It seems that both the Fondor Yards and Kuat Drive Yards both worked on Super Star Destroyers named Executor. But Fondor finished their's first, so it became Lord Vader's flagship. Kuat Drive Yards' Executor was renamed Lusankya. Palpatine ordered the Lusankya buried beneath the surface of Imperial City, where it remained as his escape vessel. Imperial Intellegence Director Isard used the hidden Super Star Destroyer as her inescapable prison. After the Emperor died at Endor, she made it her headquarters on the Rebel-controlled Coruscant. Just moments after Rebel Corran Horn escape, a huge portion of Imperial City exploded, and the Lusankya emerged from beneath the destroyed buildings. It rose up out of the city, carried by a huge bed of repulsors (the Emperor had obtained these and installed them just months before the battle of Endor), destroying hundreds of buildings and skyhooks in the process. The Lusankya blasted its way through the planetary shields, and escaped into hyperspace. Isard then took the Lusankya to Thyferra, one of the largest bacta-producing planets, where she aided them in overthrowing their government and setting her up as the ruler. The Lusankya guarded the planet along with the Imperial Star Destroyers Virulence and Avarice, and the Victory Star Destroyer Corruptor. After the Avarice defected to the Rebels (Captain Yonka renamed his vessel Freedom) and the Corruptor was destroyed by Rogue Squadron, Isard was furious.
When she learned that the ex-Rogues' base was on a station in the Yagh'Dul system, she ordered the Lusankya and the Virulence (she sent Virulence to make sure that Drysso did not lose the Lusankya) to destroy the station. Once they got there, they saw the Rogue pilots jump into hyperspace on a course towards Thyferra. Drysso ordered the station, under the command of Captain Booster Terrik, to surrender. In responce, Terrik activated the station's gravity well projector and grabbed the Lusankya with many tractor beams. Terrik then threatened to destroy the Lusankya, and targeted the ship with over 300 missile tubes! (The tubes were not real, though; only the targeting systems were real. The Lusankya only thought they were targeted with 300 missiles).
Fortunately for the doomed Lusankya (or at least the Imps thought it was doomed), the Virulence flew between them and the tractor beam projectors, freeing the Lusankya. The Lusankya left the Virulence and flew back to Thyferra at full speed. When they got there, the Rogue fighters were not there! Antilles had actually rendezvoused with the Freedom and then went to Thyferra. The Lusankya was attacked by the Freedom and its compliment of Rogue fighters. The Lusankya sustained heavy bombardment, and managed to almost cripple the Freedom when over 100 missiles slammed into the ship. They had been launched by freighters that the Rogues had added missile launcher to (but not targeting systems, they were on the station). The Lusankya was heavily damaged by the blow, but managed to drive off or destroy most of the freighters. Just as the Lusankya was starting to win, the Virulence appeared. Drysso hailed the ship and ordered them to launch their TIE fighters, but A-wings came out instead. Terrik had captured the Virulence with the aid of Pash Cracken's A-wings. They attacked the Lusankya, which lost all of its shields within the next few seconds. Wedge Antilles ordered the Lusankya to surrender, but Drysso said they would never give up, declaired that he was now a Grand Admiral, and would fight to the end. But his second in command, Waroen, shot Drysso and surrendered the Lusankya to the Rebels.
After years of refitting, the Lusankya was finally repaired several months after the death of Grand Admiral Thrawn. Isard, who had faked her own death, attempted to capture the vessel. She infiltrated the Bilbringi shipyards, where the Lusankya was being hidden, but was stopped by New Republic Intellegence. General Wedge Antilles became the commander of this Super Star Destroyer and directed the new Rogue Squadron from this ship. This ship was used as a mobile base for the new Rogue Squadron. The Lusankya participated in the Battle of Phaeda. While the new Rogue Squadron destroyed Imperial Forces over the planet of Phaeda, this vessel landed transports and dropships carrying hundreds of assault teams to take the planet below. With the presence of this vessel in orbit Imperial Forces on the surface either surrendered or fled. This vessel received the survivors of the New Republic mountain outpost by the Gallofree Yards Medium Transport Phaeda's Hope. The survivors led by Lieutenant Massimo gained permission to go after Mirith Sinn, and General Wedge Antilles allowed them to take an idle Sentinel-class Landing Shuttle from the Lusankya's hangers. Three years later, the Lusankya led the ill-fated attack on Orinda, where the New Republic forces were driven off by Imperial Admiral Pellaeon's fleet after taking severe starfighter casualties.
The Lusankya later participated in the Battle of Borleias were it destroyed a Yuuzhan Vong worldship.
