M41-A Pulse Rifle
The M41-A Pulse Rifle is the standard rifle of the USCMC. Firing a powerful 10mm explosive tipped caseless round with good armour piercing qualities, it is a rugged and dependable weapon. Sporting a magazine of 99 rounds and a 30mm 'over and under' pump action grenade launcher it is adaquete to deal with most situations.
It is a fairly intuitive weapon to handle, as it seems novices can get used to its layout fairly easily.
Ammunition is reloaded by means of sturdy box magazines, and the grenade launcher holds four grenades before needing reloaded.
If the weapon could be said to have a fault, it is that on full automatic fire it burns through ammunition extremely rapidly at a rate of around 900 rounds per minute, but since USCMC doctrine typically calls for short controlled bursts this is not a concern in the hands of a competent user.
