Metroid Prime

This intallment of the Metroid saga is set shortly after the events of Metroid/Metroid: Zero Mission. In it, Samus must infiltrate and destroy a Space Pirate base on the world Tallon IV, where they are experimenting with the strange mutagenic substance known as Phazon. More details of the Chozo also come to light.

As both the first Metroid game after Super Metroid and the first Metroid game to use first-person perspective, this game was much anticipated and much worried over prior to its release. Thankfully, the game easily lived up to expectations and is consider one of Nintendo's finest games.
