Mobile Suit

A mobile suit is a large humanoid vehicle. It is designed for close-range combat and is highly maneuverable. Because of their humanoid design, Mobile Suits can carry a variety of weapons, from machine guns to beam sabers. Most Mobile Suits are piloted by a human inside the machine. However, there have been some exceptions, such as the Mobile Dolls in Gundam Wing, which were computer controlled. Mobile suits can be used in any environment, but many suits are tailored for specific surroundings.

Mobile suits are simlar in concept to Power Suits.

Mobile Suits can be seen in the various Gundam series.
