Moon Buggy

The Moon Buggy is an all-terrain surface vehicle capable of carring two spacesuited Alphans and a small cargo. Its six balloon tyres help it negotiate the roughtest terrain and powerful headlights help it navigate in low light conditions.

The presence of an antennae suggest that the Moonbuggy is equipped with a radio transmitter/receiver device of some sorts.

A Moonbuggy is carried by Eagles and is often used by landing parties.

Moonbuggies have also been equipped with remote transmitters, for example to open airlocks.
